Lucifer Bates asked me to pass this news on to you about PixelFest.
The Looni Bin and Totally Wired present
Summer PixelFest
Saturday July 31st/Sunday August 1st
Welcome to Summer PixelfFest – a celebration of Second Life’s best music and performance… all on one beautiful sim and spanning 48 hours.
A group of friends who live on the Terres Des Mortes sim have been long-standing fans of live music and DJing all their adult lives, and, fuelled by real-life festival experiences, wanted to try and bring together a group of DJs and performers from all over the grid to perform in one place to replicate some of these priceless outdoor memories.
Over the course of the weekend there’ll be music on both the main stage and in The Cheeky Bastard area, stalls selling a wide range of products and plenty of fun and friendly people along the way.
If at any time you need to ask any questions or need any help with anything, feel free to contact Loonia Loon, Lucifer Bates, russodelrusso Husar, Janus Planer or Kookie Hax. They’d be happy to help.
We’re currently finalising a diverse and fun line-up, and so far we have the incomparable BubbaC John & The Bubbettes (SL’s best Elvis impersonator), Vintage Dolls Traditional Burlesque, an Eek-A-Mouse tribute act, Cats Coakes from 13 Cherry, a special Dr Sketchy’s event with ByrneDarkly Cazalet, Enigma Bombay, Mericat Ireland, Russodelrusso Husar and plenty more.
On the Sunday, we have US mash-up wizard Mr Widget, incredible Australian live turntablist collective alienspeaking, Jinx Paz, Janus Planer, Wiseblood Wisent doing his version of Guilty Pleasures and fantastic live singer/songwriter Keeba Tammas.
We’ll be adding more to the line-up in the coming days, so please join the Summer PixelFest group for regular updates.
See you on the 31st!
