I mentioned before I was in the planning stages of a new project that involved music, and yet wasn’t to do with my band, Blue Union. What was I talking about?
It’s not officially open yet because there’s no content aside from some old archived interviews and a couple of posts; but I’m telling SLFix readers in advance. I’m working on a new website. I figure if you’re here you’re cool, so I’m letting you know should you want to bookmark it. Those interested in writing (volunteer) are welcome to contact me.
The site is called Post-MP3, and the tagline “we talk about music” basically sums it up. Eventually Post-MP3 will be a resource to find band news, major and indie, and a mish mash of old and new stuff.
How does this relate to Second Life? It doesn’t directly, though I’ve considered incorporating virtual performers, since I believe artists in cyberspace have a future. Those who laugh at “cartoon bands” need only look at the success of the Gorillaz or The Archies to see this is a viable medium of expression. I’ll have to put some thought into that side of things though to make sure it’s done right.
So there you have it. That’s my secret project.
