Over the holiday season one can get sentimental thinking about people we love. I’m no exception. In particular I am thankful to one person, someone who means more to me than words can express; my husband Julian.
Yes, he’s my hero, my knight in shining armour, and my best friend. When I lost so much in my first life, stuff unsuitable to talk about on this blog, God was still good to me and put Julian in my life. He is beautiful inside and out. I know he’s a gift from God so that I’d not be alone in this world — so thank you God for giving me someone so wonderful that I hardly deserve. If I fail at everything else in this life, I at least want to know that I’ve done my best to spend each day being good to my better half.
So what does that have to do with the world of Second Life? Not much. However, I believe everything is all part of “one” life even if we divide things up by location and call one “first” and the other “second.”
I don’t believe things happen by chance either. Each and every friend I have, I believe we were meant to know each other. Some friendships may only last a short time, while others change gradually over time but still continue. I have learned not to get too attached to the way some things are, because inevitably situations change. But for those of you who have crossed my path in either world; be blessed!
Thanks especially to those who have been friends to me. It’s a bit early, I know, but I’d like to wish you all Merry Christmas, and if this post is too mushy, I hope you don’t hold it against me!

“You go nowhere by accident.
Wherever you go, God is sending you.
Wherever you are, God has put you there.
He has a purpose in your being there.
Christ, who dwells in you,
has something he wants to do through you where you are.
Believe this and go in his grace and love and power.”
Merry Christmas, Shauna & all of our wonderful readers!
Aw.. that’s beautiful Pay. You’re terrific! Merry Christmas to you.
