A reader recently asked for locations to buy good dance animations, so thought I’d list a few. I’m always looking for new dances, so if anyone wants to suggest a place not on my list please feel to chime in.
Studio4D Dance Animations: Loads of dances to choose from here. Creator of CWALK, better known among my circle of friends as “the skinhead dance” since we all do it whenever ska music is played.
Henmations: Has more than 1000 animations, and not just dance. Some really good ones here!
Ministry of Motion: Motion Capture animations from professional dancers from Pineapple studios in London. Celebrity style dances too.
Vista Animations: This one has been around since 2006. You can find a number of dances here as well as animation overriders.
Sine Wave Island: This was the first good dance place I found when I was new to Second Life. Still a great place to find dances.
Akeyo: A stand out place for quality dances. One of the best.
These are all places I’ve bought from, and the average price for a dance animation seems to be around 250L-300L. Good luck!
