Just what I didn’t need! I confess I saw one of the Aerospace line of fighters built by Cunningham Capalini for his Hypnoville Store and got the strongest desire to fly off into SL’s Deep Dark Night! Reasonably priced at L$500 each, these ships carry out various mission slots in squadrons, just don’t ask me exactly what! My guess is that an Aerospace designation means it can fly in atmosphere as well as deep space, but from there on, and probably as intended by the builder, it’s for your squadron leader to work out. I’m still trying to make up my mind which one I want!!!

OK, for the techies out there, here are the wonderful specifications, which can be found on XStreet listings. The boats, as we call them in the Firefly ‘verse, have six flight modes that include strafe and rolling, chat and/or menu controls, jump drive, carry Guns, Missles, Bombs, and Floating Mines; and plays well under VICE, CCC, TCS, and HVC Combat systems. These sleek, sexy vessels were designed and scripted for use in combat or roleplaying, and with multiple camera settings, are ideal for machinima work. Hey, you can set particles for sky writing or to show how you’ve been damaged! These boats do things I can’t even comprehend!

Here’s the line up:

Plus, there’s the Mothership (@ L$3,000), a multilevel vessel that basically can be home to a small crew! With a 30m x 30m footprint, the basic ship uses 108 prims and has the following list of features:

Some of those features are add-ons that will increase the prim count on the Mothership, so watch out if you’re planning to use it as a skybox, but the prims are well done and isn’t it great to not have to furnish a living space?

The attention to detail, use of textures, and original designs are excellent! These boats run rings around my CyberWitch! At those prices, you could own your own squadron!
