Great things are going surely for in-world jazz lovers and romantic couples this 2010, the year of the playfully charmful Metal Tiger. The Frank’s Entertainment Group, whose jazz ballroom is billed as the premier of its kind in Second Life, early this year purchased Bogart’s Jazz Club, another revered name among the finest formal dance halls for in-world denizens.
This acquisition means, of course, that Bogart’s shall be under the stewardship of the owner and co-founder of the Frank’s entertainment and shopping chain, none other than the charming Nanceee Sinatra. Named as general manager for Bogart’s is another familiar name in classy entertainment places, Amaya Ametza, who has been behind the many successful live concerts as live events director at Sinatra Falls, another jewel in the Frank’s conglomerate. Already, the impact of Bogart’s new management has been dramatically felt with the installation of its own jazz music stream which is the way to go for other dance and music establishments under the aegis of Frank’s Entertainment. Another Frank’s primemoverr, Gymmy Sinatra has been doing a great deal of work on the Bogart’s sim and was instrumental in the passing of the reins, says Bogart’s GM Amaya.
In addition to Frank’s Place Jazz Club and Sinatra Falls, the other pillars in the pride of Nanceee and company include Dino’s 4th Dimension and the equally posh Frank’s Elite VIP Club (managed by Adriana Beningbrough) which opened only late last year. Completing the roster of Frank’s Entertainment Group are the swanky shopping place, The Galleria, which is home to some 50 fashion and accessories shops, and Sinatra Style Magazine which boasts of 14,000 readers monthly.
With regards to Bogart’s former owner, Reah Barnes, who has been the moving spirit behind the club for all its nearly three years, she was last heard to be on a vacation holiday.
